Guided Journals & Digital Resources

The College Transition Collection

Thoughtful Resources for Students and Parents Navigating Life’s Next Chapter

I created The College Transition Collection to provide students and parents with meaningful opportunities to pause, reflect, and connect during one of life’s biggest transitions.

Whether you’re preparing to send your student to college or already navigating that first year, these guided journals offer thoughtful questions, practical insights, and opportunities for meaningful conversations.

These journals are designed to be used independently. You do not need to participate in coaching to benefit from them.

Why This Is a Meaningful Time to Begin

With Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks approaching, families have a natural chance to slow down and talk about what really matters.

For high school seniors and their parents, this is an ideal time to prepare for the transition ahead — exploring expectations, growing independence, and the support students will need.

For college freshmen and their parents, the end of the first semester invites reflection: celebrating progress, naming challenges, and setting goals to finish the semester strong and begin the next one well.

These breaks also create space for conversations that go beyond the usual “How’s school going?” — talking openly about how students are adjusting and where they’d like more support.

Two editions to choose from

Both journals are available in a Faith-Based Edition and a General (Non-Faith-Based) Edition, so families can choose the approach that fits them best.
